What determines the exp we get?

Is it the score, highest wave reached or kill count? I've been trying to figure it out but my results for each wave are fairly the same (die on wave 16 :p) so it's hard to tell.

It depends on wave reached. The amount of XP gained doesn't increase after each wave, but after defeating certain waves.

I don't know what those waves are, though. You get 4100 for reaching 19 and 5000 for reaching 20. Also, you only get 850 if you fail before a specific wave (wave 9 perhaps?).

It depends on the wave reached. It's 3000 for getting to 16 and 4200? for getting to wave 20. I'm not sure of the exact values for any waves but 16.

The ones I know of off the top of my head:

1450 - Wave 9
3000 - Wave 16
3800 - Wave 18
4100 - Wave 19
5000 - Wave 20

I think those are right.

So the point score from killed enemies have no effect on EXP?
If so then I'm removing my Elite token 2.

You'd be right, Chip. Exp and score are totallly different and they don't affect each other in any way.
