While I was in Brisbane I met some guys who work for a local game developer when I was out on the town one night. We were talking games (as you would) and I mentioned I was a Relic fanboy. One of them casually said "Relic hey? Rob Cunningham has been in town for the last couple of weeks. We should call him up and get him down here."

My jaw dropped. Could Homeworld 2's Art Director be a mere phonecall away? The answer was yes but Rob wasn't answering his phone at 3am that particular Sunday morning, or something like that. I can't quite remember since I was pretty toasted by that point. Such a near miss!

Not all of us are lazy, next FC Fest is scheduled for august 20th - 22nd, and we're expecting a pretty good turn out.
