Hiding out in buildings during Wave 9?

I noticed that when the other 2 team mates are dead and you're a SM captain with a bolter, you can typically weather out the wave by hiding in a building. Sometimes I can regenerate HP faster than all 3 shuriken platforms and a few warp spiders and a horde of banshees shooting me.


Then I shoot them all and revive my team mates.

Well I just got a plasma rifle so I'm switching over to that. :D

It's possible, but I find even the banshees' pea shooters whittle away at the building pretty quickly. Sometimes they'll also run up and attack the building in melee, and while only a certain number of them can get to the building, they kill it pretty quickly in melee too. Once the building collapses, you're dead.

There's also the distinct danger of being killed while exiting the building. I had a game recently where a FS got stuck inside the building because a grenade blew her up as she was getting out, and we couldn't revive her.

Have seen that before too:) What does work is a farseer with group teleport and teleport out next to the building. The body gets teleported to after which you can revive the dead guy.

But yeah only works if you have a farseer with group teleport
