Buguba's Sarge Mod, v1.0

How to Install:

- Extract all the files from the zipped folder into your "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\dawn of war 2" folder.

NOTE: This may vary according to your computer. What's important is that the files end up in the primary "dawn of war 2" folder.
This should be the same folder where you'll see the "DOW2.module" file and the "GameAssets" folder.

How to play:

From the desktop = Right click your Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War II icon and input (-modname "Sarge") without the parentheses
right outside the quotation marks in the "Target" box. It should look like this:

"C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -modname "Sarge"


From Steam = Right click on your Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War II icon and click "properties." A new window should appear.
Click "Set launch options," and input (-modname "Sarge") without the parentheses in the box.


Open DoW 2 and play! Remember that while this mod is running, you can only play online with people who are running the
exact same mod. If they are not, you'll get a nasty sync-error and the game will freeze. To disable this mod, simple remove
the lines you inputted in the previous steps.

Changelist:

- Tactical Squads may now upgrade to a Sergeant in T1.

- Fixed a bug where Guardian Shuriken Catapults could damage Space Marines.

Just kidding. I only did the first one.

Thanks a lot for doing this. Out of curiosity, is ATSKNF in T1 or T2?

T1. I didn't really think about it at the time, but I probably should have made ATSKNF T2. The requirements for ATSKNF is only to have upgraded to a sergeant, and the only change I made was scratching the T2 requirement for the Tac sarge. Consequently, once the sarge is purchased, you have access to ATSKNF.

It's going straight to bug-splat for me. Perhaps I have too many old mods installed and it's screwing with something.

I found the problem. The problem is the mod manager I used to package it automatically made a module file that tells the game to mount an archive that doesn't exist for this mod.

Fixed. You can re-download it now.
