Pretty much what it says on the tin: Got a new years email with some pics of whats to come in 2010, looks pretty tasty!

Doombull:

Deff Dredd

Fellbeast

I have to say, the minotaur is looking amazing, and if this is the calibre of the new BoC sculpts, then its going to be a veery pretty army indeed!

Confirmed, BOC is my first fantasy army whenever I start fantasy ^.^

Beautiful sculpts.

How do you know which is which? It doesn't say in mine...? Though the Doombull and Fellbeast assumption is most likely correct, I'm not sure on the Ork one. It certainly looks like a deff dread w/ the two skorchas I see on the sides of it, but it could easily be a titan-esque thing.

If that Ork one is a Deff dread then I guess they're moving away from the can style body leaving that to the Killa Kanz. I guess this'll make a more noticeble difference between the 2 units.

Unless its one of the new units mentioned some time ago to do with that new expansion thing?
Or something new for Apocalypse - a titanish model as Karon said.

The Doombull looks smexy, and I think I'm going to love the new Deff Dredd (seems to me like it's gonna look a lot like the FW Mega Dread).

But the fellbeast looks like a brontosaurus with a dopey smile to be completely honest... though that's probably just because of the angle the picture was taken at.

Right click -> view image ->right click ->save as... then the save box comes up with the name that GW have given the photo, in this case, doombull, deff dred and fell beast :D

I thought that the dred was looking like the mega dredd too, maybe theyre looking to forgeworld for inspiration for new sculps, like they did with the trygon? Id think that the dredd will be for the battle missions, along with the new chimera and bassy sculps :)

Just so people don't get there wires crossed. The Deff Dread you can see here was designed months before the Forgeworld Mega-Dread but due to the lead time it takes to get plastics from design to production, Forgeworld were able to design and get theirs in to production.

Chip, it's still very much a can design... it's just that Orks apparently need to put their faces on everything they make now (See: Ork Battlefleet)

Itz so dem oomies know exactly hooz doin da krumpin?

Also, those sneaky forgeworld folk! Did they design the mega dred with this one in mind?

They might have done. All I will say is that Phil did come round my desk a few times while I was painting the other one. ;)

They don't have the prices yet on the preorder stuff, but I might pick up a box of beastigors just to paint... they are one of my favorite units in warhammer, oddly enough.
I wonder if they are going back to 2 wounds each! :P

Anyone else think the Razorgor looks like Pumba with rabies?

Anyone else think the Razorgor looks like Pumba with rabies?
Nope, not at all. The body is too long, tail too long, legs too long. The eyes and cheeks don't match, neither does the lower jaw. The mane on the razorgor could match if it didn't wrap around the head, or go further back.
Congratulations on dating yourself with that reference, though! :)

I like me some of these Beasts... Might need to get a few to use as Daemons if I ever use my Chaos guys again! Especially the Doombull & the Centigor. Also, if you're dated because you watched the Lion King... There's a real problem.

Hmmm. Centigors have clawed feet, not hooved though... I wonder if there's a reason the Character has hooves?
