1st: HOLY HELL those forgeworld things are expensive I mean 550 bucks for a friggin TITAN! Sweet mother of pain!
2nd: It would be awsome to see those vehichles in DoW if they include the beloved Imperial Guard in game.

personally unless its a game called Legio Titan or something where its all titan +super heavy tank battles then i would not see the titans in the game because they r too beardy for this scope and scale. i love to hate titans in this game because must i mention it would take the C&C approach where it takes half ur army to stop a super unit. very very retarded
thats my opinion

Agreed.
And itll end up as titan vs titan in every game anyway, people would go for them rather than picking troops.

yes...they should make some sort of 'epic' expansion which goes for massive battles and units etc
Forge World does cost some, but if you've ever seen one of their larger pieces in person you'd realise why! I've seen some of their larger models up close and the detail is unbelievable! It's not necessarily for the new kid but more geared towards the serious collector of Warhammer miniatures.
And painted up, no one can deny how sweet their models look. That Chaos Titan, for instance... Sweet Mother of Pearl! I'm saving up for one as soon as I have a case to put it in!
That and they're all hand crafted!

lol my m8 made his own thunderhawk, he isnt the most arty type, and is total crap at painting and playing with the models... he made his own thunderhawk, out of carboard. lets just say the end result wasnt a thunderhawk.

This is the work of a couple if amateur teenagers from balsa wood and Legos. I´ve seen this thing live (as well as the Forge World model) and let me tell you, the pictures don´t do this bird justice...
Sure, it´s not nearly as well painted as the models done by professionals in Forge World nor does it have quite the amount of detail in it but what it lacks in lusture it makes up in pure coolness of being built up from scarps of wood and pieces of plastic!
Not to mention the sturdiness of the model, this isn´t a piece you are afraid to bring to an exhibition or even a game.
Man, I wish I was half as talented as those guys at building up mock-up models.

Forgeworld stuff is very expensive due to the limited scale of production and the high cost of the molds they have to use.
