I'm surprised nobody has been posting on this. There was an older thread but the info is outdated and might constitute a gravedig so new thread time.
In my opinion, AvP was one of the all time BEST FPS games ever. Now the developers who did AvP 1 are doing a brand new game. Here's the good news: it comes out on Feb 18 if I'm not mistaken and the demo should be available THIS Friday. I could go on but the links will do a far better job of describing the awesomeness.
I highly recommend watching these in HD if you can...
