"Beat the Campaign - Chaos" Thread

This thread is for discussing the Campaign while being corrupted. Don't post stuff from the pure campaign as to ruin it for us D:

So, what did y'all think? I thought the whole story was very good, including the parts about Kyras and Diomodes.

Ulkair was a bitch to fight, but he goes down eventually, I had to use 2-3 remote detonations, and several dozen thunder-hammers to the face.

the campaign is far better then vanilla dow2, the only problem i had it crashed after the last fight (i had zero corruption)

I thought the campaign was fun, albeit a too short. Favorite missions were by far the Space Hulk type missions. Wish they had a few more of those.

Mine crashed as well, TESB, I re-started it and entered the campaign and it re-loaded right where Gabriel is giving his speech (the part after you finish the mission, so you and I didn't miss anything)

Well my hated chaos fans.

First i played the pure one ;)

2 hours later i started the Pure Chaos ...

Coop.

Facts :

- EASY AS HELL even with Expert lvl...
- OMG Mega-Powerful - Are of Effect Damage to all "Sm"
- Energy never ends..
- Powerfull abilitys for everyone
- Nice Effects :D nice Wargear, but not rly hard to play this "way"


What i did not like was Jonah at the End.. maybe he was very powerfull.. but he lost about 250 Life and 200 Energy ... only for beeing chaos.. not rly good for a Guy, who is nearly onehit by Heavy weapons :D

And it was toooo easy to get Corruption... There are no really Pure Spacemarines who abbadon you for beeing Corrupted..

Avitus or Tarkus.. maybe Thule should abbandon the Commander if turned chaotic :D


And the one Thing i could throw up.. you dont have "the choice to be chaos" okay well yes you have.. but beeing chaos only blames you for beeing worse... if you Fail you get Corrupted.. no rly Tasks or Mission objectives for chaos...

That really sucked hard...

e.g. You fail to protect the guards... you get corrupted and so on...

I´d like to have more tasks as.. "slaugther all Citizens" "kill all the guards" ... Direct Corruption Missions .

I felt not rly chaotic.. for getting the corruption Points.
But i felt heroic for staying at the Emperors Side !

It should definitly be the other way round for the chaos
I want to be the BAD GUY.. not the guy how fails and gets blamed for this with corruption :D

And it should have been more challenging getting corrupted.
(i managed to get all guys max corruption lvl.. most of them 50% by only equipping items... and there would have been more time for at least one more squad)
The Pure Campaign (primarch) was really challenging.

Thule DOES abandon the commander when turning to chaos....did you even play? As well you lose Jonah since you have to kill him.

Now wth? I managed to get Thaddeus as my traitor, and god it was an easy fight. I gave him my most awesome wargear, and yet I managed to beat him on Captain in only about 20 secs or so, using termie FC, lvl 19 corrupted Jonah, Tarkus and termie avitus. No one died, not even a squad member.
Did I do something wrong? Or is he supposed to be an easy fight?

Where does Thule go? On my all-Chaos playthrough he just vanished from the roster without saying anything at the time. He'd issued a few warnings about the path the Commander walked, but I didn't hear any "screw you guys" messages.

He just disappears, he's mad that you didn't play what he wanted to play.

He vanished in one of the last 2 missions.. well :D

I hate this fucking crash bug... sux rly... could not see the ending again...

Anyone got the vid fpr pure chaos ending? Dont want to kill the fucking boss a third time...

Maybe all endings without the pure one..


Thaddeus was way easier than the pure traitor... hell easy :D


But i have to say... the Unclean one is a bit more difficult with chaos .. cause no Thule, no Thaddeus :)

But okay.. you just can die.. you can handel it.. soooo many revive abilities and so many shields / invul-abilities are just OP :D

Inorite, Skin of Steal, Unholy Revival, etc is awesome.

My game crashed right after too, but I just went into the game again and the campaign started off right where it crashed, I saw all the video and such.

I found the bloodlust trait sort of a bitch on people who can't really kill stuff without abilities. Tarkus comes to mind - the way I had him, he could barely kill anything throug shooting or melee, and his grenade barrage was really power hungry.

It also became quite an annoyance during the fight with the GUO. Never had enough energy to do anything during that fight.

Huh, you have to Kill Jonah at one point? I had him at the end of my all-chaos CP. I had everyone go evil, and i still had Thule in the end. And let me just say for the record, unless it's Martellus, the Traitor fight is easy.

Were all your squads compeltely corrupted? I had thule on my first playthrough even though I was as evil as possible.

You only kill Jonah if he's the traitor.

Martellus is an absolute bitch to fight. It also didn't help that the explosion his shots made slowed my computer down to like 1 fps.

He's also one of the few boses you can't constantly stun with the FC and Thaddeus.
