The fourth race is out there

So take a wild guess which one it´ll be.

My guess the secret race is Tau or Necron. They are the newcomers in the galaxy and since GW has had alot to say about the contents of the game I´m betting on them.

I´d rather see a game with four balanced and unique races than 10 races which are just copies of each other.

I think it will be either Tau or Eldar, my vote is for Tau <keeps fingers crossed> GW has been expanding the models for Tau in all Game Systems dealing with 40k universe, Epic, BFG, Inquisiter, Warhammer 40k... my marketing bet would be on Tau.

The Necrons are the olderest race in the universe and they were released before the Tau, but I am hoping that the Tau are it, but I wouldn't mind if the Necrons are. :hover:

It'll be Eldar, imho.
They have quite the beef with anything Chaos, and make the most sense with the remainder of the races.

personally i think it will be the eldar over the tau because:

1) tau are a newb race and ARE NOT a CORE race of 40k, ask urself would 40k be 40k without tau? yes it would and it has. same goes for necros and necros were just small raider lists before

2) tau would be very hard army to play with in game because as soon as CC hit ur done and CC is a major part of this game.

3) tau are not as dark or grim as the other core races although they may be somewhat dark(been discussed) they dont compare to the grim nature of everyone else and rather leave a feeling of : if u live in the tau empire then life is nice and perky blah blah blah.

few comments is that GW wont just include tau just because they have been given a BFG range etc(notice that tau need BFG before fans start b*tching etc.) tau alrdy got a new game and that could work against them. personally i doubt they will be in for these reasons and hope we dont see the "true smurfs" in the game.

It's my money and I'm allowed to be greedy. GW craps on Eldar players and so far the games have done it too (Some one wiped their bullocks to produce ROW, and Epic 40k never bothered to work on any expansion armies). I'm not interested in playing another 40k game that dismisses them. If they're there I'll get it, if not, I won't. That's my right as a consumer. I've never owned an imperial army and honestly I'm sick of them, and I definitely don't want the "secret" race to be guard. None of the other races are really entertaining to me either. The Eldar are fluff wise a rich race and have a lot of potential if anyone would bother to use it.

i dont want em to be guard and it wont be but i never questioned if ur allowed to be greedy im just saying. anyway the eldar did get their own game and that was rites of war while other armies such as say guard, dark eldar, nids and orks have never had their own games where they played a important role. eldar have recieved even if minor something while other armies have nothing. the only reason marines are in the game is cause they r the most popular army and fluffwise one of the most important. i hope eldar are the final race cause i think theyd break the cliche of say putting nids in(bug race in ever sci fi game lol) and be very interesting especially with all the psychers and avatar.
