Face it, emoticons have become part of our language. The funny thing is that no other language has had the equivelent of them, ever. Why do you think people have started using them now instead of 3000 years ago?

actually, Professor Nogrongugrutiki just recently uncovered ancient Mayan stones at Temeltipec. Upon transalating the stones, he was heard to exclaim: "The virgin must be sacrificed at dawn and then all will be... ':)'?!?"
