Traitor legions?

Which Chaos marine chapter will be in the game? cos there are a few to choose from or will it be all of them on a crusade led by Abaddon?

Personally i don't mind so long as there are berzerkers in multiplayer

well the thing is that its concept art and things change depending on what features u want chaos to have u c. if its night lords thats cool but id rather have it be the black legion if the timeline is during the black crusade. hey wouldnt it be so awesume if this was set during the EoT?

i was sorta hoping for the Iron Warriors since thats what army i collect, but i also collect the Night lords so if its them am happy.

I liked the way Chaos Gate did it. You were fighting against Word Bearers with World Eater support. This had a few good sides to it:

1. Everything could be "Generic Red", as Word Bearers and World Eaters are both red.
2. You could include Khornate Daemons and Tzeentchian Daemons in the same game, and still have Berzerkers, and everything made sense.

Plus seeing a bunch of loonies running towards you screaming "Blood for the Blood God!" was awesome... expecially when it was seconds before they took a high power Heavy Plasma Gun hit to the chest! ;)

I'm kind of hoping it's the black legion that's in the game.

That way there's at least the possibility of having a wide range of the chaos troops in the game. Like all different types of daemons, obliterators, raptors, havocs, and possibly some cult CSMs.

I also think the black legion would be the best choice, not only would you get every unit available, but since they're chaos undivided, they'll be able to get berserkers, thousand sons, etc . Besides, the black legion is the most basic army of chaos, meaning it wouldnt recieve the penalties and wierd rules that everyone else (such as the night lords only bieng able to use ONE deamon).

limited no. of races will probably mean the same for troop options.

going from the screenshots the smurfs had lascannons (probably only on vehicles) flamers and missile launchers as wellas the boltgun as ranged weapons (so far).

i couldnt imagine every chaos unit being available but it would be cool if they did have a nice choice e.g 2x troops, deamons minor and greater, defilers, transport and some elites.

in the very 1st shots of DoW i believe u can see a devastator with a lascannon.

Either you can choose which of the gods you dedicate your chaos army to, or its just undivided.

Whatever it is it isnt a specialist Tzeentch, Nurgle, or Slaneesh because they have blood thirsters. So either its undivided or Khorne...

i think you will see khorne and undivided because lets be fair, you would get bored of gunning down Berzerkers who lack and real ranged power other than in things like dreadnoughts
