misunderstanding

after having read and posted in this forum for some time I realised that the main reason people favoured armies or despised others is because they don't fully understand the real workings and background of the army they hate.

this thread is to give people more understanding on other armies and how they work so people are a little more informed when they come to say something about some race.

Ok.. Let me start by saying that the Imperial Guard take skill to use effectivly. Even though most people stand and shoot with the IG it still takes a considerable amount of skill and luck to do that. Plus, there are many varients to the standard IG list. Drop Troops for example are vastly different from Mechanized infantry.
