This game launches in the fall according to Jay Wilson of Relic. How many Dev teams are there at Relic and when did this games development officially start?

100 Relic employees? I don't think so... more like 60 or so.

It's been in development since at least early 2003.

Nothing official yet.

I'm more interested in the third game. See this thread for more speculation.

No.

1 warhammer game with THQ
1 unannounced game with THQ (could be warhammer, but I doubt it)
1 unannouced game

I remember when THQ got the contract for 40k (was posted on the IGN, and was excited for a quality PS2 game, oh well :bandit: )... I don't remember the press statement saying that WHFB was also in the agreement, but that was the better part of two years ago, so who knows!

67 last time I counted, but we've made some hires recently that might have us topping 70.

I played allot of the original Warhammer games, they where pretty fun, and it would be interesting if that's the other game. :kami:

Almost 70 at Relic now, sure has come along way.

So December 2002 says Shadione in another thread for starting date.
