i recently bought an ATI 9600 XT and to celebrate the new acquired power i re-started playing Homeworld 2 but this time @ 8x FSAA and 8x Anisotropic filtering. It looks absolutely gorgeous ... excellent framerate and no edges on the polygons.

Any idea how power hungry the DOW engine will be? Will it be playable with FSAA and still run at a decent framerate?

you could dl the impossible creatures demo. since DoW is a modified IC engine, you might actually get an idea of the DoW performance this way.
