I probably play chaos as well but thats depending on what Traitor chapter's they are going to put in, in the TT game i have armies of DeathGuard, Iron Warriors and Black legion, if i don't play Chaos, probably Space marines.

That's a tough decision. I play the TTWG and all, but I find that most people online that play 40k-based games talk like idiots and think it's fluffy. You're either going to see a bunch of imbeciles across the country typing "4 teh 3mp0r3r!!!!" or "'ere we go! de orkz r comin!" or "Die, worshippers of the false Emperor!" It's been studied and proven.

Your best bet is to play the race who can annihilate the most annoying of these race-obssessed fanboys. For me that would be Loyalist Marines, just because I've already made DIY chapters and such and I think it'd be a lot more fun.

Not to mention, I feel obligated to serve and defend teh 3mp3r0r.

Hard to say. Considering that this game doesn't reflect the gameplay of the TTWG, every race here is going to have its own distinct style of play.

I'm more of a micromanager, so having few number of tough units is probably the way I'm going. So that's either Space Marines or Chaos over the Orks.

I don't know what it is... but when I play and the enemy is :censored: space marines, it raises every angry thought in my body. I feel that the space marines on the table top look bland and in the books they worship a dead man in a brass chair. I am prepared for... :bricks: ... but thats my opinion

Got to agree with you on the amrketable properties of expansions that bring in new races to the game, for multiplayer and, hopefully, new SP campaigns.
Unfortunately, the big 'but' here is, DoW has to be successful first. Otherwise, the publishers won't commission expansions for a 'failing' product. Whcih would be a great shame. I for one would like to see the majority of araces, if not all of them, represented in the game.

Yeah, I dont think the nids should be in the game YET(although it would be really cool!). I do play the Nids, but I think that making another swarm race would be not such a great thing to do. But arnt there 2 secret races? One for the story line and one for multiplayer? For the storyline I highly think its going to be the deamon hunters. Why you ask? Well like I may have mentioned before, it fits in with the story line just great. Your a Blood Raven commander that is set to kill the Orks, you find out there is more going on that you thought(Chaos?). Than once you fight Chaos for a while the Deamon Hunters come in to the rescue. Anywho I have no idea what the multiplayer race is going to be.

I will probably play the Orks, but only after I see how they are played and if I like it. Ok I know about the Orks in 40k and its the same thing. But I would like to See how they are played. I would really hate to go on multiplayer and see 4 Space Marines and maybe once in a while Chaos. It would get boring really fast.
