I know the game is only 10 days away, but I was wondering if the weapon skill system they mentioned made the final game. Basically, in single player the more you use a weapon the better it becomes in your hands. That sounded cool and I want to know if it made it or if it got left on the cutting room floor.

As far I could tell from the community event, there is no progression system in place.

Gameplay wise I wouldn't mind a progression system, but fluffwise...Uh, a Space Marine Captain learning new moves, techniques or abilities? I don't think that'd make such sense, unless something like a datafeeder (It's a Forgeworld, the Adeptus Mechanicus has those stuff) can pass on info to him. And even then I doubt anyone as arrogant as an Ultramarine would resort to desecrate such tools. >.>

If you want that play Deus Ex Human Revolution

I don't think a campaign that may last over the span of a week or so is going to teach a 200+ year veteran captain anything new.

Perks in multiplayer give you certain bonuses though; depending on your class and weapon loadout.

Got Deus Ex and the Demo today. The demo has ruined Deus Ex for me, 'cause everytime I boot it up all I see is that Space Marine smashing an ork again...and again...and again....

So, what you're saying is, you open up Deus Ex again and again to see Ork smashing?

Guess there could definitely be a worse form of having the game ruined for you.
