Power Sword?

Hello,

I got my hands on the Xbox 360 version of Space Marine today and I'm about half way through the game now. Having bought Kill Team a while ago and finishing the arcade game I kind off expected to see the Power Sword in the Single Player Campaign. Yet I only got the Power Axe so far.

Having done some digging on the internet I'm still not sure whether the Power Sword is an exclusive multiplayer item or if the real issue is that I used a different account (on the same console though) to buy the game on xbox live.

If that's the case I'm sure you'll understand that I'm not exactly motivated to pay twice for Kill Team and yes, I finished the arcade game on the same account as the account I use to play Space Marine. I also have the achievements.

A clarification or fix (if the power sword should be in the single player campaign) would be greatly appreciated

Nevermind, found the answer myself. Thx for the assistance anyway.... Oh wait noone bothered :O (sorry for the sarcasm here but couldn't help myself ;-) )

Probably no answers as the games not even out for another day, how'd you get it anyway (the power-sword that is); might be able to help people who run into the same problem in the coming days/weeks.

Yeah, since this is a fan-run forum and we are all just gamers helping other gamers out, your sarcasm is misdirected. You can't always expect somebody to give you an answer immediately.

As Ewokz said, it would be nice if you post the answer here to help somebody else who might be having the same problem.

the powersword is multiplayer only, if you have it unlocked you will be able to equip it in the customizer when selecting assault marine class. the requirement is you complete the first level of kill team, not the entire thing, and it should not matter which account it was completed on unless it's a roaming profile

yea I apologize for the sarcasm, just seeing how I had 35 views and no reply made me wonder if ppl were just being plain unfriendly or simply didn't know. As Mac_Bug pointed out the power sword is MP only, something I found out after utilizing almighty google ;-). There was mixed information on this on forums that made me wonder.

As for how I got my hands on the game... Simple enough, it was on store shelves since 2nd september.. at least here in Germany where I live ;-). I've heard that it was sold earlier than 6th of September in other countries accross Europe thou so I'm assuming some US folks also got to play the game early.
