MP challenges question

If I'm using weapon versatility, and I get a kill streak, do both weapons get it, just the one I shot with, or I have to get 3 kills with each weapon for the challenge to count?

Actually that's a good question, correct me if i'm wrong but when you use say, grenades and you are using the Storm bolter, if you make a killstreak with grenades it counts for the Storm Bolter.

So if you do one with grenades and you have 2 weapons... What happens?

Another interesting question is if the steam achievement Master of the Armory counts the power sword stuff.

I think it's whatever you get the third kill with, I use grenades rather liberally with my bolters and the killstreaks aren't moving very fast even though I'm getting them.

As far as my experience goes the weapon you deal the killing blow with gets the credit.

On a related note, challenges that require you to revenge kill as a Chaos Space Marine count even if you revenge kill as a Space Marine. I expect other race specific challenges to work like this, unless its a bug.

If it doesn't say "As a Chaos Marine" then it is generic. I can't imagine having to do the Grudge Kill challenge if you could only do it with one faction, I end up playing Space Marines twice as often as Chaos. Currently level 40, and I only have about 35-40 Grudge Kills total.

Still 0 Grudge kills. Fuck this challenge, i wouldn't even care but god damn is that backpack sexy.

Yeah i was checking and turns out i do have some grudge kills, still not the minimal 5 for the first challenge unlock but eh, and since i have so little i guess i started getting them when i started using the Plasma cannon, so thanks, your advice is working, i don't have a clue of why but it is. :p

@Shuma - get all the defensive perks for the dev/havocs, get plasma cannon, roflstomp the enemy into submission burning position and profit :P
Today I got my 250 kills with mah hammar, so I'll be getting some grudge kills as well, hopefully :P

Hammer isn't very good for grudge kills because it is reliant on opponents never getting lucky or a small moment of competence. In my experience, most of mine came from Plasma Cannon and Lascannon.

Anything that can kill safely and instantly is good, basically. Mastercrafted grenades, Melta (if you are against idiots), Heavy Bolter (if you are against idiots), and great ASM play (if they are downright terrible sub-level 10 nooblets).

Its gives you a kill streak/kill based on the primary weapons slot. Majority of my bolter/storm bolter kills actually come from nades (especially if I get hit by an ASM, just throw nades at my feet and laugh).

Everytime I've nade killed after death or in a group the killstreak has counted toward my primary weapon.
