Invisible Grimskull

Heyo. I'm at the boss fight against Warboss Grimskull in the campaign, and everything's running smoothly, except...Grimskull isn't there. The cutscene still goes through the motions of him throwing me into the pit, and he still speaks, but there is no character there, and nothing to fight once the cutscene ends. Any ideas?

Try verifying the game files (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335) in Steam, provided this is the PC version.

This happened to me - invisible Grimskull in the cutscene (Titus falling down and flying around by himself) and then nobody to fight when I got the controls back. Reloading checkpoint didn't fix it, but when I suicided with grenades in a corner, Grimskull was there when I respawned and it played OK from there on.
