1: FIX THE FUCKING LAG!

2: I dunno, it'd be nice to have a screen at the end of the game that tells you who killed you the most, and who was using what weapon, that sort of thing

Yea I admit it is kinda lame to get hacked to pieces by an ASM despite the fact he was not even close on your screen or to die from heavy bolter fire despite the fact that you managwd to roll into cover on your screen (only to die behind the wall from some ghost rounds ;-Apart from that though they should also fix these one-shot situations imo. Sucks a bit to run around the corner and be insta gibbed witout h you even getting the chance to react...

Pretty much what Moep said. The ASM hacking me with melee weapons from a distance is just annoying. Oh and that isn't the lag causing it!

Honestly, my biggest gripe with multi-player is the fact that the battles are so damn quiet. I'm not talking about no noise in general, but the fact that the game is nothing more than grunting Space Marines and Bolter fire is quite dull. What the game needs is to be more alive, this alone I think would make it slightly more enjoyable experience than it is now. Having your Chaos Space Marine simply killing loyalist scum left right and centre and not bat an eye doesn't really fit with what we've come to know about them. He should be laughing maniacally and calling out the loyalists for the lap dogs that they are.

Likewise, the Space Marines should be calling out "Enemy Spotted" when a Chaos Marine walks into view, or yelling "Under fire from heavy bolter" when taking fire from a Chaos Havoc. This sort of thing makes the battlefield feel alive, rather than a stale arena and I honestly can't believe they didn't included this kind of context sensitive stuff when it was in DoW2. :(

Hotkeyed, race-specific taunts and orders for MP would be ace indeed :)

While it's too late to add radial voice commands to the console versions (Controller mapping is set in stone), the PC could support this addition easily.

Yes = "By the Emperor!"
No = "The Codex Astartes does not support this action."

Voices in MP? Background music? Both totally Boring!

Gameplay with DoW1 sounds (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVdy2zHMyVQ&feature=player_detailpage#t=27s)

Damn, it's looks and feels like different game!

Seriously think that sound and emotes are serious problems on multiplayer?...How about more maps, customization, modes etc etc. My greatest concern about the MP is that its too little content to keep people dedicated. i just got 41 and i am feeling that there is nothing more to get out of the MP part of the game, and you ppl complain about the sound

Sound, taunts, shouts and stuff like that would REALLY bring up the whole experience.
But yeah, maps, capture the relic, more weapons like flamers, claws, power fists, etc...

Hearing the same quotes over and over can get old, although I do have a soft spot for the old "Shazbot!" from Tribes :)

As for lag, I don't have much of an issue with it on my x360 in California.

My complaint with Multiplayer is that it doesn't feel finished. It currently feels like a demo that's been tacked on, and we're waiting for extra levels, different modes of gameplay, more weapons and customisation unlocks etc.

DoW voice acting in game would be awesome as well.

I remember saying voices and such would be required to allay dullness in long-term MP play.

And everybody thought it was a bad idea or too much work.

Well HAHAHAHAHAHA now we all regret it. Join me in suffering.

But yeah, the battle cries of units is what makes Relic 40k games. Yet they seem to have completely ditched that. Good move, good move.

They need something to break up the constant HUUUUUUAGH AAAAAAAAH rrrrrghghgh HOOOOOOOOgh HURF AAAAAAGHghghg OOFing. If someone were listening outside my window they'd think I was watching gay porn with random explosions and gunfire in the background.

Now action-gay is a genre I can see myself investing in. Thank you for the new business idea Arbit. To the Dragons' Den!

I admit I'm a bit sceptical abouy adding voices and music to multiplayer. While it does sound cool on first glance and definately adds to the atmosphere in SP I believe it would become a huge turnoff in MP. I think I would go berzerk after a couple of hours listening to the same lines again and again. If all else fails you can still always plug your mic in and yell "for the emperor" upon engaging the enemy ;-). Bet ppl are gonna love that :-P

When I first started playing multiplayer, I thought the exact same thing. Melee fights, in particular, sound particularly... unpleasant.

The revving of chainswords after every grunt must paint a particularly depraved picture to someone walking by.

Only you could say something like that, Pocky :p

You should join an Incompetent Fury session sometime and hear some of the things being shouted out :D

Yes, very f*cking annoying and lame to roll away but still get hit from a distance (no lag included).

What the game needs is to be more alive, this alone I think would make it slightly more enjoyable experience than it is now. YES! What made DoW my favorite series was the character is possessed. I hope Relic will improve on this aspect for the MP and SP as well.
