Alright, this was actually my fault... but here's the story:
I was doing some experimentation with editing normal map files, so I followed the tutorials changing the settings on my Photoshop's Nvidia DDS to renormalize the normal map.
Only then did I realize that I don't remember the 'default' settings on the DDS converter, and now whenever I try to save another kind of file like a .dif, they end up looking very, very bad. :(
Anyone here know the default settings for the converter's Normal Map settings?
