MP Weapons

Is it possible in Space Marine to edit the weapon values and whatnot then share the edited files with friends for some private SM fun? We really, really dislike how some weapons are in Exterminatus mode - let's just say that we'd like the bolters to be more effective.

Edit: Or, alternatively, is it possible to package up the extracted files again into OPPC format for re-insertion?
