Why do people vote in exterminatus defeat?

What's the point of it? If the vote to not try again wins then that means you restart the whole map set, which is the same as quiting the match and join some other host. If you don't want to continue just leave. Why the heck vote to not continue?

I and others vote to not continue so that we quit the game normally/say goodbye to each other in the post-match lobby.

Because leaving during the voting screen caused the whole indefinite "starting" bullshit. You may not give a rat's ass about the people you're leaving behind, but at least waiting until the game starts again doesn't fuck it up for anyone.

If you retry, you don't get the XP form your current score, it's better to get easier XP by starting over.
