Why you ask, well its quite simple:: there is a new Carmageddon in the making by the original team of ( I didn't read that far) Carmageddon/Splatpack, carmageddon 2, Carmageddon TDR ( they brought together a team of old developers from one game or all i don't know )

before you log in to the site you have to be sure you are 18 or over that age, like granny from part 1

and if your younger than 18 well well what now ......... Answer:: wait till your eighteen'd birthday <<< or go creative >>>

In the site you will find a forum a blog a Store:: no legal copies of the games but other stuff, and more to come

I advice to register if you want in on it and wanna be part of Reincarnation ( I once played in a band called ReincaR , hows that for coincedence)

but anyway the forums are also for viewing ( dont need to register for that, but there are extra's for community members )

if you wanna go back to the old times of the old Carmageddons and have trouble playing the games there are experienced people and threads on how to get those games playing.

How you ask with help from other people and their work/creations/programs,,,,,,,,,, Also you can find mods for the games in the forums

Helpfull tip::
if you want to run Carma 2 on win 7 x64 here is the way

Step 1:::: INstall Carma 2

Step 2::: Get the V2 super patched file it can be found on www.moddb.com ,,, down it and install ,......... note original cd music will not play after patch

Step 3::: Decide what music you wan't to hear while playing ( Load your Music player make a long list and go play < something heavy,, like CRISIS for example >>>

Step 3.5::: startup with Carma2 HW.exe

Step 4 ::: now you have done two things and if carma2 is running, then your in the green ( very posssible that you will have no sound whatsoever, so thank me for step 3 ( very boing but hey,


Step 5::: to get the sound running and play in 1024x7something you will need the prog Zeckenzack's Glidewrapper ( search google and you will find it, its at the top of the page..... with this program you can overirde game settings for Carma 2 and Many many more games Mostley old games!! thank the creator <not god ofcourse but the programmer>>


Step 6:::: i you do step 6 you are at you own risk i don't take responsibillity for STEP 6..... oke here comes my instruction take a sugarcube put in your mouth swallow it whole, no wait an our, maybe two hours, wait even longer then think to your self:: Im gonna be smart im gonna make something of my live ... now stop thinking go to the bathroom release yours bowls one time at a dry spot.. now you will have a colered sugar cube ( color depends of what you eat)

now if you have done step 6 take a picture of it and make it public and give a description of what you did ... You will get veery well known and you will get respect



NOTICE ::: if this doesn't work well than that is quite bad, if so Check the forums at carmageddon.com there might be an other solution people now still play all parts of Carmageddon

well Carmageddon is a racing game where you can race the laps/tracks its an open world, you can also win by taking out other racers wreck and race actualy or you can win by taking out all pedestrians ( not sure ) also in the game are power ups like pinball ( just like in a pinball machine but now its your car, dont crash or you will pinball ) , suicede pedestrians, granite car and many more ( haven't played in years so i don't quite remember all those power ups)
there are also timed missions( you can get extra time by killing peds or smash in cars, there are also timepowerups ) wich can be quite difficult but fun

if you crash an opponents car you can by it after the race if you have enough mony ( ingame )

REMEBER i have descibed Carmageddon 2 the first and third are simmilar but part two is my favorite it also has a lot of mods if just downed a pack with 109 extra cars...these are not standerd cars

Edit :: this the best i can do for now Mantaray ( there isn't more i know of Carmageddon Reincarnation , there might be some interviews or article's but i haven't checked yet) Just wanted to introduce young gamers to the carmagedon series

Carmageddon Roars in merchandising


Friday 7th October. London. Digital specialist AT New Media has announced that it is now acting as merchandise licensing agent for iconic video game brand Carmageddon.

Carmageddon is a series of games featuring hilarious and brutal race car action created by UK independent developer Stainless Games. First released in the late 90’s, the controversial, multi-million selling and critically acclaimed franchise is due to be re-booted with a major new release - ‘Carmageddon Reincarnation’ - due out in late 2012.

The original Carmageddon and its sequels, caused a huge media storm, prompting questions in the Houses of Parliament, TV debates and reams of newspaper coverage – the game’s tongue-in-cheek violence being ideal material for a little press hysteria and political ‘outrage’.
