:dunce: Who came up with the word called "random"? I know what you're thinking, some crazy newbie talking nonsense, about nonsense. NE WAY! I f you've ever really thought about the origin of the word random, we use it to explain somthing we can't explain, more or less. For example life, there is really no true definition of life, i may not make sense but may make you think. Also this tread was completely random, no one can explain this...:dunce:

I totally understand... but I don't agree.

Random is simply a merging of several languages like greek, and latin, and such. Life is not random IMHO. Everything that happens is based on something that happened before.

Life has a definition, and there has already been a thread on this. But in the biological sense, life is anything that has one or more cells.

you WHAT?
this is THE single most pointless thread I have replied to this month. begone and plague us no more.

So you can't understand the word "random"? So what. I can't understand the words "no, I don't want to have rampant animal sex with you".

You'll get over it.

A more intelligent discourse on the random, probability thang (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2632)

Csr: If you want to discuss random chance, or the mysteries of the universe, or the use of cheese with regards to science, feel free to do so, but here's two very important points to bear in mind before posting in the future.

1) Try to make it intelligent, and a discussion, rather than what you posted then which doesn't really allow any follow up. Take a position and ask people to counter it, or add their thoughts or whatever.

2) Don't post in ORANGE.

thx
