So I found this game a few days back and thought it was fun, and figured I would share it with the forums.

The game is basically a 4x strategy game in the vein of Solar Vengeance, and Spaceward Ho but Neptune's Pride is online multiplayer only.
the game is played in real time but do to movement and research times, it takes a span of weeks to play a game, with the players only logging in a few times a day.
any ways i'm still playing my first game, but it seems fun for anyone who likes building and crushing interstellar empires and playing diplomacy.

Yeah, its not a game for the impatient and honest. Back in the spring myself and two feiends went in with the plan to dominate, but we ended up playing the others guys off each other. And then at the end there was just epic lolraeg when we re ealed we were working together. This one kid acted like he was about to tear his keyboard apart he was so upset.

Then my irc friends and i all had a game together and i tricked them by playing under a different name and they kept talking about their plans on irc and i crushed them all with ease until it was myself annd one guy left and we were tossing fleets of hundreds around in every engagement. Eventually i bluffed him into revealing his weakest stars and soon began my unstoppable fleets marching forward into victory.

Good times, good times.

I Agree with Stingra.
It is not a game for the impatient or one who cannot take backstabs lightly. The game heavily relies on this. Had tried it long back. Played only 2 games and placed 1st in both. I enjoyed the game a lot but it took too much of my free time.
Quite easy to learn.
