View Full Version : Run mod from Corsix mod studio, not my mod.

Hello,

I've been following the tutorials for modding a texture in corsix mod studio:

modstudio.corsix.org /tutorials-texture-editing-paint-net-13.html

and I have got to the last step:

after having altered the texture and right clicked it to convert it back to a .rgt file... I go to the menu and click play (dev mode enabled) ... and... the game runs with no modifcations!

It seems to run the non texture modded version. What am I doing wrong?

Did you follow the tutorial exactly? Specifically:


Once you're done, save the file as a DDS again. The save dialog will popup. Make sure the right texture type is selected from the dropdown ("DXT1 (Opaque/1-bit Alpha)" in this case). Tick or don't tick Generate Mip Maps (depending on wether or not it said "with mip levels" when you converted the RGT). Press OK to finish the save process.

If this is about Company of Heroes, that's not the problem, he suffers from not running his mod. Unfortunately, there is a little more to do to get your mod running, read through this tutorial on how to get your mod working :).
