Just as the title says, is there some specific piece of wargear you would like to see?
For me, it's this:
Flechette Dispenser (Tau Commander - Accessory)
Passive - Whenever you use Jet, Assault Jet or Heavy Jet, enemies near your take-off point take light damage and are snared (or even suppressed).
Not really. The game mode already has a metric tonne of wargear that a lot of people either undervalue or overvalue (apart from the few mechanics nerds or TLS junkies :p).
I'd rather see a whole new game mechanic put on top, if I were dreaming (bearing in mind DoW II has no further support, at all). Something akin to wargear "sets" (there is code that allows for this, at least in vDoW II/Chaos Rising, though I never was able to test if it was functional or not) that allow for bonuses once a "set" of items is equipped.

Sets of gear would be pretty awesome, though the variety would have to go up to provide such bonuses I think, or everything should apply some kind of set bonus.
I would love for some kind of advanced "The Last Stand", something akin to a survival mode that isn't wave based, but perhaps protecting a base or structures. Some of the missions provide you with "additional objectives" during a defense in the campaign, and it'd be very cool to see something like that, providing you with means of getting a small bonus, but still working together to protect a base, fix it, fortify it perhaps. You'd get very limited resources with either "base" heroes at first, the resources allowing you to upgrade base defences/your hero.
Or something like that :O
Well, let's use my Space Marine Captain as a base, assuming all heroes have the same number of wargear pieces (though the distribution between weapons, trinkets and the like is weighted differently per hero). Image spoilered for size.

Accoutrement of the Hawk
Required level: 20
Required wargear: Jump Pack, Lightning Claw, Taunt trinket, Bolt Pistol
Effects: Grants stealth (infiltration) when not attacking, gains +150% weapon damage upon breaking stealth (lasts for 5 seconds or until expended). Bolt Pistol has a 25% to insta-kill any non-boss infantry target (passive permanent bonus).
No idea if it would require an additional accessory slot type (which would probably require programing) or not; this would be a significant factor in design in said programming was required. I've been toying with the idea of making a mod which includes functionality like this, but I'd be hamstrung by the default UI.

Maybe an option that lets you switch the commander item slot for an accessory slot?
New wargear would be nice, but I think I'd rather have them rebalance some of the current items to have better synergy with the rest of the gear. Some items are literally useless or a liability.
Oh, I do want something. A selectable pistol for the sorcerer, general and mekboy.

Commissar Lord tier 2 power fist should be replaced. I always wanted to see him use a power Gauntlet , which each strike of his fist makes the infantry around him fight harder, for 3 seconds. I call it " Give no Quarter"
Inquisitor with a miniaturization ring, that shot las cannon power out of it. Which it could be combi to any wargear she has because it so small.
