Call me stupid but I couldn't any where in this forum or on the net a simple instruction on how to install a mod.
The only thing I could find is a readme file in a Majic's mod that reads: "Run Space Marine with the -userpreview switch".
What does "-userpreview switch" even mean?? How exactly am I gonna do that?

Create a shortcut to the game's .exe file and add "-userpreview" to the end of the shortcut's Target parameter (right click > Properties).

Alternatively, right-click on the game in Steam, select Properties and then Set Launch Options. Then type -userpreview into the input dialog that appears.

I've actually tried that before but it said: "The name specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct"

Have you tried the Steam alternative? It sounds like you mistyped something in the Target field of your shortcut.

It is -usepreview, not -userpreview.

Nope, nothing works for me. Does it help if I tell that my computer is running on windows XP?

Well, lets just make sure you actually installed it first ;).

1. goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\warhammer 40,000 space marine and create a folder called preview.

2. then you unrar all the contents into that folder.

3. lastly you right click the game on your steam library and on properties, select set launch options. You then type -usepreview in their and run the game.

There! You're good to go!
