Just curious what the community would be interested in seeing first in a mod, may have missed some options, but the ones I can think of are:

new races
mods/more units for existing races
new MP maps
SP campaigns for eldar, orks, chaos
MP campaigns

MP campaigns, Im not a fan of single player games usually and I think the open endedness of mp campaigns would prove entertaining, new races would be my second choice

You don't seem to have an option for "mod to make my units behave the way I want them to without explicit instructions."

Yes. After all admirals and the like don't - and can't possibility micromanage the actions of individuals.

Personally I chose MP maps, because that will keep things interesting and such.

After the huge influx of MP maps I would like to see races. However, I believe the races should take time, as it will be difficult to balance them.

Races I would like to see:

ALL Chaos aspects - Nurgle, Tzeetch and Slaanesh.
Imperial Guard - Jungle troops and the old regulars
Gene Stealers - Not sure about the new WH40K but in the
old 40K Gene stealers rocked. Bring them back...

Imperial Guard - Jungle troops and the old regulars - well they in so they'd need to be made available for mp and stuff like praetorians added

Khorn is in I believe (has the greater deamon anyways).

As for the Imperial guard...are you saying they are already in? I believe that space marines are in...but not the guard.

New races, or at least modified basic races (like special chapters/craftworlds?).

I think that a single mod like Dark Millenium TM would be simply fantastic, rather than having all the players wanting their personal favorite races then we'd simply get all the races at once, that would temporarily silence a big part of the community, seeing as over 60% (at the time of posting) want to see new races before anything else.

Then we'd start to see a greater focus on new maps, new campaigns etc. It wil all come in time people, one after another.

Usually i dislike rts's but as an ex warhammer enthusiast had to check it out. which brings me to the first impression it left me :
eve tho there is no resource harvesting per se, there's still too much going on for a feeble mind like mine.

My personal fav would be a <insert term for a more-TT-like gameplay> mod. strats > nimble fingers.

Maybe the finished game will have a 'speed-throttle' , but what i found myself wanting was a way to coherently control units around the field which becomes a nightmare as the unit numbers grow. I understand there are many things in the game that are thought out in the light that the speed of the game is X, but if anybody has an idea about this kind of a slomo-mod being doable either by scripting or programming i'd be interested to know..

New races sound good initially, but just think how tough it's been to get everything balanced for the 4 in the game already. Good luck. That being said more clearly distinct races would surely help to keep the game from getting old.

I'd like to see a mod that changes the actual gameplay mechanics, making the tactics deeper and adding more terrain and cover variations, and enhanced elevation mechanics. Right now it seems there are only two types of cover, deep craters and shallow craters. It would be neat if there was other stuff like rubbe, bombed out houses, etc.

I personally would like to see a Necrons mod, they would be fairly easy to transfer over since they have a few units any, and for balance they'd really just have no melee skill at all... like a space marines type of army that is all firepower and no brawn.

I chose more units/mods for existing races because expanding on them allows for more interesting gameplay without too much work. animation creation would be absolute HELL and the more races the more work....
I want a Chapters mod up first
