Favorite Chaos Legion?

Whats you're favorite Chaos Legion ? I just want to see the favorite of this forum but it could be equal. Mine personally is 'The Emperors Children' even though I collect 'The Black Legion' as I like to be able to use alll the Chaos Daemons and Soldiers.

even tough i'm mostly an imperial player, i do like the thousand sons and their background, models and rules. altough world eaters are a close second.

Can agree on Alpha Legion, both when they were loyal to the emperor and after. The manage to give the ultramarines problems before their primarch fell and after still operating withing empire space :bandit:

ive had a recent attraction towards nurgle (can that be possible). toughness 5 really is appealing even though you are heavily outnumbered and lack firepower...

The emperors children are the finest chaos legion, because quite frankly we are perfect. :nana:

Though chaos is obviously very evil :evil: I always considered the armies of slaanesh to be the most evil in nature. Khrone are violent madmen with no real control over their actions; they kill quickly and without mercy. Nurgle is all about decay and corruption, which is pretty evil. Tzeentch; now he's pretty mean because he's 'clever' evil, plotting every evil act on some ultimate destination. But slaanesh take pleasure in the suffering of others, which makes them in my humble opinion the most evil of chaos armies :evilnod: .

On the table top slaanesh get some pretty nasty kit (combat drugs anyone?? :D ) and troops like daemonette's which can really make grown men cry if they come at the right time :boohoo:

winners don't do drugs :) and all the chaos deitys take some delight in their enemy's suffering(at least the empirium's), slaanesh is just more centered about it. but apart from that and It's lust to devour all i'd call it a pretty lame god. It is a god of pleasure between stuff like the god of death and decay and the god of bloodshed.

Although I don't play Chaos, I would prefer the Black Legion. This way you can combine the different features of the Chaos Gods.

Next on that list would be Word Bearers. Same reasons as above.

I like the iron warriors for 2 reasons.

1. No deamons. Im terribly sorry but i absolutely harte playing deamons. Heretics are ok but no deamons.

2. They are a seige army and the tanks i came up with and the whole style appeals to me.

My second favourite is Khorne because of their brutal nature and lovely bronzed army.

My least favourite is nurgle due to the colour scheme and models (it fits their background perfectly but i just dont like it).

The other armies dont stand out enough. Slaanesh is ok, black legion is cool but boring, alpha legion- no thoughts, thousand sons- too complicated.

I mean no disrespect to anyone who may have been offended by my comments. I canot please everyone so please dont pick at me :argh:

But Nurgle worshippers is an army a like to play...
because of their god's mark, in addition to being CSM, they are really hard to kill... add some plague swords.. and let's rock. :D

i'm a big fan of the word bearers. something about fielding a chaplain against my friend who also fields a chaplain....but then have said holy man open a gate to the warp and have bloodletters come streaming out.....

have 9 troops slots is nice too.
