RAIDER MODS ARE EVERY WHERE !!!!
gezz i can never rember witch ones witch... i downloaded TVK a few days ago n was glued to the screen for a few hours but at frist i though it was RA... so i was woundering where the small scout was "thiner" and the missile cruiser but was awed by the other ship in there... lol
any chance of u guys murging or some thing... make it easy on me !!! lol
I think that all mods that are based around a single thing.. (B5 mods, ST mods, SW mods, mods that use races already in the game, etc.) ..should all be come on ebig mod... how ever, I do understand that this would be come difficult becaus of the age-old problem of adding ships to the build list... I am assuming that in the Near-year that my presence has been in absence, nobody has come any closer to solving this hellish issue... however... all things are possible... perhaps if we persuaded those that are creating Homeworld 2 to lend us the answer to The Question, we may be able to say that we have finally sovled the puzzle that has riddled even the Ancients... I believe that since Relic is now concetraring upon Homeworld 2, they will be more willing to reveal the last peice of the puzzle...
Perhaps we should try? others have tried in the past, but things change, people change, as do the questions we ask and the answers we seek... Perhaps we should try... Perhaps...

You are correct, the ship lists are fixed and cannot be altered.
And to be quite frank I would never want to mix any Great Wars mods with other B5 ones - every mod team has their own way of doing things - and we have nearly filled all the slots in two of the Mods as it is so there is no room for others...
However, with the release of WinBig all mods in future should be released in an update.big format which will make swapping mods that much easier. :)

Well, when we started RA, we didn't realize that TvK was in business (or back in business, or whatever). Actually, come to think of it, they might not have been when we started--we've been working on this a looooooong time, very very slowly. ;) At any rate, now that we've started, we're gonna darn well finish this thing! :D No offense intended to TvK or the original Raider mod, of course...

I don't think that the original Raider mod gives a damn, as it's quite crap compared to the new TvK:)
But our mod isn't like the Raider's Ascent mod, as we also have the Kadeshi as the Kushan. Hopefully we'll be able to release more stuff on the Kadeshi soon, but, for now, I leave you with this:
The new Kadeshi ships kick ass! WOOO!!!!!
Though we only have like half done so far:(

Yeah, we figured creating once race worth of ships was enough for the amount of time we could put into it. ;)
Looking forward to seeing the "K" part of TvK... :D
So far, it's doing rather well. Hopefully some people (GHENT!) can get off their ass and do what they said they'd do.

Where's the Kadeshi "mothership" in all this? I seem to recall seing a potential design for a new mothership with the HW P2MS relegated to carrier status...
The Kadeshi Mothership is now a brand-new ship, made by Ghent/Link. The Needleship, however, is not going to be buildable for various reasons. However, the Needleship WILL be in the game still, most likely still as the P2 Mothership if we can get the stuff right to allow people to control that ship in singleplayer....

it's definitely able to be controlled by the player either in MP maps or SP maps. it's SO awesome too, because this is the only way that all 16 dockpoints will work correctly. It's an amazing ship. It won't be the carrier either. In fact, lately i've begun to wonder if the Kadeshi should even be given a carrier since the Gardenship is so mobile and well equipped for everything.
ummm, i may get flamed for this, but i can't resist showing off my baby (YES Langy i HAVE been working on it)
this is like my equivalent of SvK's mystery post, since you can see the GS but not really see much of it ;)
Ok, you're working on it but you said you'd do it something like a month ago:)
Anyways, the mod'll be awesome, no doubt about it. I'd like to see more of the Turanic Ascent mod as well. May be interesting:)
And Ghent: Don't you remember that you posted bunches of pics of it in the old RB mod forums? When the mod began to get started by dmille/Charvell again?

Seriously, we're working on some new ships, hopefully will have another release by the end of the month. Hopefully. :D
the old forums died... AND btw, the Gardenship and a few other ideas were already under developement by Linky, Chillykma, Razor/Kadeshi, and myself 1-2 months before dmille/Charv started the current TvsK MOD project.
It's not like i've spent the past several months straight on the GS, i've got a lot of other simultaneous projects going on. Mainly, dock points need to be tweaked then we can probably release it with the next beta.
