I'm not sure of the respective point values on either side, (i dont' have my codexes handy) but it looks like you have 1 HQ and 2 Troops choices on either side, so it looks good from here.

Seeing as how you're playing a Space Marine Legion, you could just use ALL your models and say its a Heresy-Era force. Play it as a chaos army, and its perfectly acceptable to use normal marines that don't have spikes and tentacles. They are newly turned to Chaos, and haven't mutated yet. If you like Chaos better, take it a step further by painting blood-colored runes on your marines, or slashing through any imperial icons, like the Aquila (double-headed eagle) on their chests.
Damn, that would be cool! I wish more players would try that, rather than the ubiquitous green-stuff ugly looking mutations.
That how I run most of my chaos marines. They were converted yesterday is the theme to my army. :) I have one squad of actual chaos marines, a couple of heavys. and a squad of termies and berserkers. I am collecting bits an pieces from both regular SM and chaos SM. This is becuase I don't really like the look of mutations. (no nurgle for me)
You can run the world easters aspiring champion as a choas lt. (second in command of army) Which is a hq choice, and since he is khorne the berserkers count as troops, so it is all legal as far as I can see. :)
HAve a good game.
