View Full Version : Cover?
In the TT game, things like foliage and buildings are commonly used as cover. Wondering if anything like those two will be implemented in the final release, on the maps i've seen, there's no forest you can enter into and gain the standard benefits from the TT game for doing so. And because all of the buildings are completely ruined...can't enter into any sort of bunker or bastion in any of the current maps either.
It'd be great to have jungle and forest like in the TT. Even if it was simply, click the forest, units enter forest, click outside forest, units leave forest(Not moving around in the jungle much in TT).

see the large craters? and the slightly wooded patches of ground, they are cover.
likewise the mud flats on the big maps edge are negative cover, where a squad is more likely to get killed.

I win many games b/c of people who dont know what cover is. My Marines can stand in those craters and beat 2-3 other units if they decide to fight us ranged. Not only is cover implemented in this game it is a major strategic option.

I'm sensing that you did not at all read my post. If you did, you'd know I was talking about FORESTS, and BUILDINGS. Not craters and also that sort of..muddy ground. I've played the game plenty, I know what's already there and I use it.
Read before you respond next time.
