According to the company, Homeworld 2 won't be appearing at the show in part because the company wants the first public appearance of the game, planned for later this year, to focus exclusively on Homeworld 2.
we've waiting 3 generations for it, whats a few more months? :coffee:

Fans of Relic's groundbreaking 3D real-time strategy game Homeworld will have to continue waiting for information about the game's upcoming sequel.
Even they know how long we've been waiting :allnight:

Ahh, the Sierra marketing monkeys strike again. And nobody's sure whether they're doing a good job. On one hand, an absence at E3 will theoretically call for some public attention, but on the other, who dares ignore the media vortex E3 generates?

Perhaps the relic team does not wish to put togeather an E3 package at this point in time ? I think somewhere else on the forums it was said putting togeather things for E3 is allot of work. Well we can drool over some of the competition and hope that HW2 smashes and then grindes them into the ground because it is so much better :D Some of the new ones comming out look like a eye candy HW ripoff.

I must say that sounds hopeful, at least :)

"As a last dying breath for this forgotten console, Homeworld 2 will be a system-exclusive port coming ONLY to Nintendo 64 in December 2002. Those of you with the console still will definitely want to get your hands on this one. It will take full use of the Rumble Pak functions, six different ships, and ten all-new missions. The graphics will be almost HALF as good as its PC predecessor...Yes, it will be worth every penny of the 59.95 you dole out for it."

Maybe they want to focus on iC at E3, instead of HW2? iC is going to be at E3, and I'm guessing it would be a tremendous amount of work if both games were there.

Considering that iC and HW2 have different publishers, I don't think that applies. Microsoft is known to get their hands into everything, whereas Sierra... well, you know.

Im losing faith in HW2.:flame: My speculation has now come to, i'll believe it when i see it. Until then...ive always got ORB. :D
I blame Pike for all this.
Finally!
We can now expect HW2 to be revealed sometime in the next 5 years!

LOL Shin!
Well, while I am confident that Relic will deliver, for such a ridiculously long wait, I expect Homeworld 2 to be exceptionally polished, cool, and well thought out... either that, or the teaser page was launched much to early. And with that "attention only on Homeworld 2", it either means that it is not that great, so we can't have any competition, or they just want to add on to this pile of ridiculousness mushed together with coolness, wonderness, and all sorts of nesses... Ah yes, hopefuly, Homeworld 2 for N64 will be worth every one of those 59.95 dollars...
