SUCKS! Yup. I tried the demo. The graphics is good, but the INTERFACE...

is counterproductive, confusing, counterintuitive, and confusing.

It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to attack.

It is so buggy that I saw harvesters harvesting an invisible dust cloud and getting no resources.

It reminds me of the PRE-ALPHA version of CATACLYSM!

I was very disappointed with Project Earth. I may buy it anyways, because I eventually got used to the controls, but I agree that they suck entirely. The graphics were nice, but I am really looking at O.R.B. now, cause it claims to have Homeworld-style control, and the graphics look nice to.

graphics are nice and i never had any probs but the fighters dont do barrel rolls and if you ask me the whole complete freedom to move thing sucks... i have a hard time locking the camera onto small ships. but besides that it seems like a good game... got used to the controls after a bit of toying with them... remember not to base your judgement soley from hw... they are aiming to be different and unique. and man o man learn the short cut keys cuz they help ALOT.

Get the overbloated 100MB demo off fileplanet.com Its not worth the download. Just wasted 2 precious hours of mine.

Yea, PE has some (closer to many) problems, but from the looks of it, most bugs will be dead, since they're using all of the EU releases as their beta testing befor it goes to US.

It looks purty, HW2's a long time away, ORB looked worse than HW in the shots I saw.

Theres one main thing in PE that really got my attention though, BIG SHIPS, the large HVC type ships are as big as the mothership, Ive been waiting a loooong time to play with some badass ship that isnt as tiny as the HW HVC.

I tried the PE demo, the dialogue kinda sucked, the que's for people talking were buggy, meaning sometimes people talked over eachother when they shouldent, or some people dont get to taklk when their suppost to, and the captions often dont keep up with the audio.

Those guys better put a HW style controll option in hw, I hate how much I have to adjust the camera to see my god damn ships.

Heh i read on lemon boards you cant ally in mp games...they are planning to patch it though.
