I want to download the beta!!!

But I can't. FilePlanet has gone all wierd and freaky on me: it doesn't give me any servers to download it from, non at all. The "free download clients" tab is just empty. This leads to 2 obvious questions:

1) WTF is wrong with FilePlanet?
2) Is there any other place that I can download the open beta from?

I think it's closed, I received my key while I was on vacation last week, come home today and can't download a thing.

Anyone else here knows any better? Because It just doesn't seem fair that because me and Lyphen and god only knows how many other people will be left out of the game because we got our key's a little too late.

Ah, excellent. Thanks for the direct link. Gameplanet didn't have anything on their page about it.

It isn't working, either the FTP is flooded or they're taken the file down.

Darnit! Well I have a key and I have the same problem.

Now, Matt, I go to that direct link and I click on download now. I was excited until that fat ugly window that says "The page cannot be displayed" comes up.

I read below the common problems from that same site which read...

Error Messages
If your browser asks you to log in with a username and password, or displays an error message like "The server returned extended information," "Connection refused" or "The page cannot be displayed," this often means that the selected download site has reached its maximum capacity and is not allowing any more users to connect. Select another download site from the list, or try again later.

...I tried again later. No go. Heh. Is there any other way to get around this? Someone please say yes........ truthfully that is.

I still have the .exe on my HD wooo... just in case I made a backup on a disk (you never know when your computer will try to empty itself!)

Sorry to hear about the download guys... just think about how much more the retail will own when you play it!

Have some faith...I had the same problem, it just means that the server is full; the file is still there. After constantly clicking the refresh button for about 5 minutes, I got the file.

Did you get the file today? And from that site? I have been doing the refresh trick for some time, nothing, but I will continue.

This reminds me of Lineage 2 when they only produced 3 servers for 10,000 players... mad clicking to log in.

they should have it so if you have a cd key and it checks out and hasnt been used yet they should send you an .exe file dload....but thats my idea of what they should do.
