Has anybody got HW Cataclysm working with windows XP? I can't seem to find much info on it in my web searches. I can get the game to run, but no hardware video acceleration seems to be available, which doesn't make the game very playable. :( I'm behind the times in buying this game I know (just bought it) but I loved the original and would like to see how the sequal is! Any suggestions / hints or even just telling me "it doesn't work" would be useful, thanks!

For any other people who have the same problem I got it going in NT compatibility mode. (Right click on the short cut, select the compatibility tab and choose NT.) I didn't have any luck with either the win2000 or Win98/ME compatibility modes, but so far so good with NT.

In other words. Visit the MTL in the Bug submission board and all questions will be answered. Well most anyway,.............some....................a few.....................maybe.

Wasn't that simply because of the incompatible video driver thing? :err: I have the very same problem too with my XP driver because 3dfx does not exist anymore (I use Voodoo3). So I have to dual-boot with older Window versions like Windows Me or 2000 (although the OpenGL driver which seems to work better with my card somehow can't work in 2000 and the Direct3D driver was not 100% perfect either) to play most games which required a 3D acceleration.
