title ses it all are you running on the fluff of a greater craftworld or have you gone one step further and made your own fluff? tell me yours i wanna know. mine goes roughly like so...
ulthwe was preparing for the fall and itwas decided that rather than pack everyone on one CW fleet there would be one huge fleet and a very small group the large fleet would do as ulthwe do now fight to survive and gain glory, while the lesser group would attempt to recolonize worlds. the small group soon gain a reputation of almost always only coming out at night and so they were knicknamed the shadow guardians.(of course there were other aspects and so on but as a whole that was their knickname) after thousands of years they gave up trying to recolonize one world at a time and so they expanded their tiny CWs and merged them. they had one of the lowestpopulations simply because whenever they find a planet they can take without a huge fight they send down a small force. over the years many other races have come into the picture so instead they have been less planets good for taking. now they are small in reputation but large in population ready to moive back on tho a planet.

It's true, they are all pansies, physically weak sums the Eldar up in one word. And why would I be jealous? Space Wolves are far superior to your puny Eldar!

'Ave it then. This is a WIP for CWEO on Swooping Hawks initiation rituals and tests.
The wraithbone spires soared high above the gardens and statues of the space reserved for the True Eldar. Such beauty was not to be found in the squalor of the Dark Kin's abode or the wild untamed reaches favoured by those savages of the Maiden worlds. At least such were the views held by Bhi'ranatha the lord of the aspect of the Hawk on Sol-Shenestra, and few argued with him. Of course few were allowed to meet him but those that did meet him agreed wholeheartedly for they also were of the True.
As he drifted across the 'sky' lazily floating upon the thermals generated by the Bonesinger's workshops, his keen eyes watched the entrance to the shrine seeking for the youngster due to present himself for the tests.
The youngster looked at the gate to the shrine. It stood three hundred metres above the gardens, an opening formed by the triangle of the rune of the Hawk. Nothing connected it to anything, but across the garden stood a second spire, also adorned with the Rune. He stepped towards the door allowing his robe to slip from his shoulders to the floor, the ritual gesture to show that he cared no more for his posessions but only for his Path. Naked and prepared he stepped through the door into the empty air.
He fell, tumbling towards the floor, terrified and confused, near to panic. As he fell he tried to calm himself, to seek a way out of the predicament, he could not seize the wall, too smooth for even a master acrobat. How would a Hawk survive this? A Hawk had wings though, how to emulate that? He spread his arms as a child would to mimic flight, calmly prepared for whatever might come.
What came was Bhi'ranatha, stooping towards him to seize him rising in a swoop that took them high above the garden. He let out a whoop of exhilaration which carried across the shrine's space, ending only when they had landed at the second tower at a concealed entrance. He turned in apprehension towards Bhi'ranatha, searching for some response.
The impassive mask stared back, blanked eyepieces boring into him. Finally the Lord nodded.
"Well done youngster" He rumbled, the voice echoing with the tones of his predecessors "You have succeeded in your first trial"
And there's more where that came from.
