Starcraft mod needs texture artist

I'm Darkslider and want to start a starcraft mod now.
At the moment the team looks like that :
1. Darkslider ( old second teamleader of starcraft Xel naga Vengeance, much model expirience, some textures )
2. Spoo ( modelexpirience, bones animations )
3. Hans [W]urst ( editor freak from Warhammer 40k )
We need really a good texture artist. You can contact me ( max.goedecke@freenet.de ). Here is a link to my old old mod ( isn't anymore really active because our teamleader doesn't contact us anymore, also CNC Zero Hour isn't really good) :

starcraft mod...sounds awesome.

i've gathered some texturing experience from modding cnc generals(team leader of the capellan solution mod)

can't promise anything though, very much depends on spare time :sadpanda:

A Starcraft MOD could be fun, although I think it would be more interesting to see some more...original MODs. (Like that Homeworld idea) I'd start one myself, but I'm already bried up to my nose in other projects. :D

Yeah, I'm just not sure why you want to do a Starcraft mod since it's basically a copy off of 40k (don't get started on that point). But if you do I don't care, atleast you can use your software

I don't know if Blizzard is as picky on their license as George Lucas for Starwars. But i highly doubt you will be able to mod based on Starcraft for this game, wich .. game i might add is under the license of GamesWorkshop on top of that.

Anyway good luck, but i can understand you would like to play Starcraft with DoW engine i would too ...

If you are interested I would sent to you a model (Dark Templer,Marine,normal Protoss,all created in gmax). You could make a texture then, and sent it to me.
It isn't bad if you haven't got so much expirience, with the time you get more of it.
Your help would be really welcome.

Sounds awsome, I would definatley take part in it, except I don't know shit about 3D modeling/texturing :( I have some HTML / Flash experience, but nowhere near that good.
