[HOWTO?] In game 3D motion controller?

Is it possible to get a 3D motion controller to work with the game for controlling the camera/scrolling movements? I really like the Spacemouse Plus from Logitech/3Dconnexion for operating 3D models and I imagine that it would be awesome to be able to use it for sweeping the torn up battlefield and making pre programmed quick commands.

Someone else with experience of similar equipment? Ideas?
