Here we will put two well known characters from the 40K or FB universe's against eachother, and see who would be most likely to win.

Though the Slayer of Kings is impressive, I must vote Abbadon. His sword is the better of the two. Not to mention his body has been altered by both the Emporer and the Chaos gods.

have to go with abbadon this time. much more impressive armour. equal in fighting prowess. they both have really nasty deamon swords. but abbaddons is nastier. he also has a storm bolter built into his lighting claw. (claw of horus or sumthink?)

Abaddon. Hes got a storm bolter, a better daemon sword, and terminator armour. Plus he actually won the campaign based on himself.

Abbadon has the bolter, but Archaon has a daemon horse and can close the gap quickly, and when he gets there he has the advantage of being on the horse and slashing down on Abbadons head with a daemon sword.

OK, let's just stick to 40K for the next one, but for the sake of fun; but from nowone I'll go into a bit more detail on what they get and where they are fighting.

The two are fighting in a vast underground cavern, there is a big crack in the middle about 300 feet wide and Emperor knows how deep. Abbadon has only his Deamon Sword, Drech-yen is it? Archaeon has the slayer of kings (which can cut through Abbadons termie armour), but his steed has left him. Now remember who they both are, Champions of Chaos, so lets have Nurgle and Khorne backing Archaeon, and Slaanesh and Tzeentch backing Abbadon.

Sorry, I will do this for every other Fight Club.

although abbadon is a genetically altered super human, and then demonically altered madman, i will go with archaon. abbadon commands huge legions not because of his power, but because of his rank. in all his 13 crusades he has lost.

archaon conquered all the evil tribes of men at the edge of a blade, not at the pull of rank. and he is undefeated as of yet.

plus, the archaon model is just SO cool

Same gods mind, plus Archaon can cast magic on Abaddon (although yes he was held up by a coaching inn for a week.)

I wonder what would happen if Abaddon led the Storm of Chaos... "I am Valten, exalted champion of light! Lay down your arms and prepare to die!" *Abaddon calmly aims storm bolter at a perplexed Valten and blows his chest apart* "OH MY GOD! MY SWEET MERCIFUL FLESH! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?" "Its called a BOLTER GUN. Maybe you might develope it in 30,000 years, that is if the entire population of the olde world isn't working in my sweatshops by then...".

He was flung back in time to take the place of Archaon, he already has ammo, DUH! :D Even if he doesn't, his termie armor will protect him while he tears out Valten's lungs with his bare hands

Bolters don't have unlimited ammo you know.

And ceramite wll eventually crumble, he will only have a small amount of repair ceramite on him.

Ah, but in 40k, bolters have unlimited ammo when we want them to.....and I'm sure the Chaos gods could work some 'miracles'.

Abbadon is second-string. He took Horus's place after his death, even stole his claw. He seems weak to me. Now Archaeon, also known as the Bringer of Endtimes, has a few advantages. First he hasn't lost thirteen major wars, second his men are loyal to him, he leads by respect. Abbadon leads by fear, his men hate him and would turn on him in a second. The Bringer of Endtimes gallops forth, removes the head of the pretender and mounts it upon a pike as a warning before moving on to pillage.

well for a start they both have loyal men. loyal by fear or a misplaced sense of trust. abbadon has only lost 12 major wars, he won the 13th. Archaon lost his war, and so what if Archaon pillages villages, Abbadon destorys planets!

Well having about 100x the troops plus warships galore (and the planet killer and the Blacksones and all the cultists already on planet yadda yadda yadda) does kinda help.

im just saying abbadon does things on a much bigger scale, he can do this because he has the technology. the technology he could use to destory archaon in a fight.

i would vote for archaon simply based on abbadon's quote "Horus was weak, Horus was a fool..." and then he goes on to rant about how he'll crush the Imperium.

If it takes you thirteen tries to get out of your neighborhood (the Eye of Terror), and you can't even beat up the bully on the edge of your street (Cadia), then you're not tough.
i can't believe the chaos gods didn't make him a spawn thousands of years ago.


not that archaon is really any better at this point, but at least he's only failed once at this.

It's not just rank. Hell, I don't think a single Berzerker would follow a guy just because he was promoted higher. I vote for Abaddon any day and twice on Sunday.

Abbadon's black crusades were tea parties compared to the Storm of Chaos. No wonder he lost. Meanwhile, Archaon: Killed one of his four champions. Barely did anything in the campaign. Got himself between 3 different enemy armies. Never set foot inside the city he was trying to destroy. Was generally ass whooped. Abaddon all the way baby.

Ya but you see, Archaon doesn't have to worry about Plasma,,Missles,Lascannons.Artillery,Flyers,Titans,Orbital Bombardment,Etc.Archaon has to only deal with wooden arrows,crude swords,flying rocks.Besides Abbadon Terminator armour will protect from any weapon in the fantasy realm(with the exception of the skaven warp cannon).

Exactly. Archaon is almost invincible and still gets his ass whooped.
Abbadon on the other hand has marines, guard, inquisitors etc on him... and he wins!
Also alot of his 'losses' were because he withdrew with what he came for e.g the Gothic War was about Abbadon getting his mitts on the blackstone fortresses, and lo and behold... he gets them!
