Single-player campaign: crashes.

Hello guys,
I wonder if anyone had the same problem I am experiencing these days.
I can't continue the game after "The Gardens of Kadesh" mission, because Homeworld keeps crashing on me just after I exit the hyper-space (right before the game saves the current position). :|
That's irritating.
Someone told me it's due to the number of ships I got, someone else suggested me to free some space on the hard-disk (aren't 6 GB. enough?!).
I am desperate.
I could really attempt suicide if I am not able to play the single-player again. :p
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

is it 6GB for just Homeworld, or 6GB total?

cuz I have 60 gigs, and and I think 40 is the standard.

I bet your copy of Homeworld isn't it a English copy. I bet it is a localized copy to other language than English. Don't You?

All You must to do is edit the Homeworld.cfg file and change the language of the game.

Please use notepad, edit the homeworld.cfg archive, find the line with the text "language" (without quotes) and change the number of the value of this parameter to 0 (zero). Your game will work now in English and without any crash.

This was a bug with patches after 1.03. Something was changed in the gamesave file loader and the game was broken for localized copies only.
