Metal or plastic?

For metal models, there are various industrial painstrippers available; try this Paint Removal Guide (http://forums.portent.net/showthread.php?t=134317930), or this Metal Miniature Stripping Guide (http://forums.portent.net/showthread.php?t=134346202).

Stop pimping your shit here and go the fuck away.

ANYWAY!

As for getting paint off, castoral super clean motor oil. Leave them there a week, then hit them with a tooth brush, paint comes right off.

oh man i found out that GW paint is soluble in alchohol!!! Its prolly mroe work than wut the others have listed but...its cheap! Take some rubbing alchohol and a tooth brush and jsut start brushign the guy down. this takes a bit of work (cuz you really have to work the brush) but works on plastic and metal.

The castrol is only like a buck a quart (a liter for our SI friends), and you can reuse it, probably 3 or 4 times

just a reminder:
take care when using tooth brush: most of those product may harm your eyes and after a while, you may pay less attention to your work... you should wear safety glasses to avoid to get product into your eyes.

experienced it myself, not that great....
