I haven't noticed anyone else on this forum getting this.
I have a fairly Lowend system, but it is still above that of the Min Specs.
When i load the demo, everything is fine until i come to play it. at first i thought the tutorial would get me to build stuff etc. but then i released that there was already the main building, i jst couldn't see it.
All my Models appear invisable, as to say, i can't see them.

My system is.
Athlon XP 2400 @ 2.0Ghz
nForce 2 ultra 400 MoBo @ v4.27
512 PC2700 Memory
XFX GFFX5200 128mb @ v61.77 @ DX9c
I have tried to run the game in all Resolutions and Graphic settings, but no results.
Any help would be fantastic,
Cheers.

I had a similar problem to this this morning.
In the Main Menu you just get the background? No Marine, no skull scout, just the occasional laser sweeping across from the skull scout?
What I did: I was running the most recent ATI drivers... I rolled back. That caused a reboot.
Whether it was that reboot, one of the four reboots before that, or one of the four reinstalls of the demo, I don't know.
You should post your warnings.log file. Specifically I'm curious if you have these messages in your .log file:
13:51:31.9 MOD -- (mod manager) Failed to load Folder 'W40k\Data_Shared_Textures\Full'
13:51:31.9 MOD -- (mod manager) Failed to load Folder 'W40k\Data_Sound\Med'
13:51:31.9 MOD -- (mod manager) Failed to load Folder 'W40k\Data_Whm\Medium'
If you do, please post the same problem again in the "Game Freezes" post by Nuage.
Best of Luck..

Those messages are normal. We will contact ATI about the new drivers.

I just went through 17 pages of threads here, and though I've seen this bug pop up in a couple threads, I've never seen a resolution listed.
I went through everything listed in the sticky threads (my fast writes are off, I'm running DirectX 9.0c, lastest drivers).
Yet everytime I run the game, I'm still getting invisible models. Actually, they usually blink for a while, then turn off. Then the game lags more and more, until it finally crashes. Happened in Beta too.
The really weird thing is it doesn't happen at my home computer, only my work computer.
Here's my warnings.log:

Okay, figured out a solution.
The *new* nVIDIA drivers were the problem.
It worked fine on my other computer (which was actually below minspec), but the graphics cards were exactly the same.
The difference was the drivers were one version earlier.
So I installed earlier drivers and it now works fine on my machine.
Someone with more knowledge in this area should probably talk to nVIDIA. Is there any more info you need from me?
The drivers I installed to get it to work are:
Driver Name: nv4_disp.dll
Driver Version: 6.14.0010.4403 (English)
DDI Version: 9 (or higher)
Driver Attributes: Final Retail
Driver Date/Size: 5/2/2003 15:19:00, 3180171 bytes
The ones that caused the problem were:
Driver Version: 6.14.0010.6177 (English)
DDI Version: 9 (or higher)
Driver Attributes: Final Retail
Driver Date/Size: 7/15/2004 11:42:00, 3740032 bytes
This is somewhat annoying, as it means I'll have to constantly switch between drivers depending on which game I want to play. :(

That's wrong. 61.77 should work with no problems, I've been using them since the Beta.
Download them again from nVidia.com, and re-install them.

I had this bug while using the beta a few times in Multi-Player. I always assumed it was a bad conection to the host. I did submit a bug report about it.
