Well, the replay feature is greyed out and unusable in both the beta and the demo now, and I was just wondering if this was a feature that is still going to be in retail?
I'm sure everyone remembers the fiasco with HW2 where the demo had the recorded games feature (albeit bugged) and people thought it would be fixed for retail, only for the game to be released and the feature being absent.
I'd just like some confirmation that this feature will definately be in retail - or not. Should be set in stone now the game is gold.

It has been confirmed quite a while ago by the 'powers that be' that the saving of a replay WILL be in the retail version.

It would seem obvious, but will we be able to trade saved replays?
I'm looking forward to watching replays more than playing the game... :/

You can save replays in the demo you just can't load them up.
Same with saving the level.

How can you save the replay in the demo? There is a button, but it is grayed out.

Replays are going to be a HUGE part of the success of the DoW community. All that graphical coolness should not go to waste! =P

It may be strange, but I often enjoy to look on recorded games more than to play them. Ha! :werd:

no thats not strange lol, i used to do that on warcraft :) its like going to the movies, but you skip all the love scenes and go straight to the battles lol.
oh ya, i cant wait to check out some of the better strats and epic battles. no doubt, legends will be made.
back in the day, there were demos (recordings) of Thresh and other mad skillz players, owning all in Quake 2. not only was it instructive to see their technique, but damn entertaining :D
