Adding new rules into the game

Has anybody figured out yet how to add new extensions, tables, modifiers, requierments etc into the game? Everytime I try adding a new file the game crashes and I have to undo my changes. EG I wanted to add a squad ratio requirement just like the structure_ratio but it never worked. Or I tried to rise the formation limit from 17 to 20 but it keeped crashing even with a new table.
Any ideas, suggestions, archievements?
