Once you have your Soul Shrine up and running , which upgrades do you go with first?

I usually get Entangle , for tying up Commanders. Then Mobolize is my next choice.

I do Conceal for the extra tidbit of armor. It's still early-game, so my Guardians aren't all dead yet. Just pop for Conceal, and upgrade the Guardians to have a Warlock. Mobilize is next choice, and then I am pretty much Aspect-heavy from then on.

Entangle first, of course.
Then it is situational, sometimes I get Eldritch for some more offensive punch (hint-eldritch will nearly kill turrets and generators, how close to death depends on the race), frequently conceal and/or fortune for my council.
Also, unless you really got resources to burn, I'd advise against Mobilize. Eldar vehicles really arent that good, especially cause you can just get Brightlance or Shuriken Platforms instead.

Edit: Disclaimer: I dont have retail yet, this is 1.4 beta

Mobilising for war just makes you dead ( according to 1.4 beta ), Is it any different now? is there a reason to skip having plats and aspect warriors rather than say 1 or two fire prisms and maybe gaurdians and council by the time your enemy is ready to kill you?

based on my limited retail play I would say no. I generally only go for vehicles in midgame. Of course alot depends on how many players and how big a map. 4 random players vs 4 other random players and you might be able to tech rush Wraiths or something and not get hit early if you are in a rear position. But in general I tend to go conceal and entangle as my first 2, to go with my seer council and 2 guardians.

Isn't the Falcon really handy, effectively giving any squad higher speed and jump packs?

Personally I never use the falcon. Most of the maps are relatively small and eldar have fleet of foot... plus it takes up vehicle cap that could be used on a wraith or something, or money that could be used on units that fights better. but the game did just retail so maybe you will have luck with them. In beta all the transports were virtually never used.

Quite right-- Mobilize doesn't need to be grabbed uber fast since platforms are so efficient at what they do.

the only reason I get support portal is to get req 2 or an avatar

Brightlance is all you need - really - since eldar infantry is efficient as hell in numbers

I actually dissent with the motion that mobilize is unhelpful. The Seer Council and Banshees are a good CC force early game, but I often find that Wraithlords help solidify that advantage once Chaos or Orks start putting up resistance. This said, I often mobilize for Wraithlords alone.
But then again, I also notice I don't go as heavy in reapers or banshees as some other players- which may mitigate my argument some. I like Wraithlords cause they're tough- don't break, and don't cost additional resources to reinforce. (you have to have the power going though, they're 295 for power).
As for the other vehicles, I do use PLs also, though not to any great numbers as I probably should- I usually upgrade the Wraithlords with brightlances to make up for the shortage though.

Thanks for the input guys , i have been trying out other things besides Mobilize for War , and so far those BO's work just as well , but so far in retail I havent really been tested so I will am still waiting to try non-MfW BO's against capable oppenents.

they are good cc only but will die to posessed with upgrades (w00t) - I don't build vehicles as eldar - altho at times i go for an odd prism/wallker combo or a massive vyper harrasment

its infantry + full bl pop for me - some shurikens vs ork as well

You guys called it , Brightlance is the way to go for sure. Already i have already gained multiple victories using BL. I have tried just getting my points and then holding them , then he will eventaully launch a major attacksnd I then backdoor his base with 6+ BL's. That sure pulls them off the offense quick ..but not quick enough. Thanks for the Input.

MfW is useful not just for getting wraiths and other vehicles, it (I think more importantly) gets you witchblades for your Seer Council... without the witchblad the SC is crap against buildings and dreads... with WBs they can rip apart anything.. anytime... anywhere. You can use them to tie up half the enemy army while your reapers, plats, guardians (dont forget to keep them around! for entangle if nothing else!), and whatever else rain hell down.

Double Post

Oh yeah, got so excited by SC discussion I forgot to talk about Shrine upgrades.

Entangle. Entangle. Entangle. This is the ONLY way that eldar can beat a fast SM or CSM rush. Must delay them to get your SC out and built up. THe FC and CSML are so damn strong that you need to tie them up cuz if they get into HtH with you they will shred your farseer and make your 3 man SC cry for momma.

After that I'll usually go for power weapons, witch blades, Mobilize (to get SC witch blades); conceal if I have the cash or if I'm playing eldar/orks and am relying on big guardian squads (in that case conceal is moved forward).
