Strange Feed Back Noise

For the most part...my game runs fine...but every now and then(at random)...i will get the strange feed back sound from my game.
Its more like a screech...and the lenth of the noise varies..then it goes away..and everythings fine...Any comments on this one?

This seems to be the issue with some of Creative sound cards. Try adjusting your sound acceleration, as described in this thread (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=37624).

I'm having the same problem as Retaliation. I think this is different than the one mentioned in the other thread above, the sound doesn't get stuck, but rather, once in a while I just suddenly get a (frighteningly) loud buzzing/screeching noise, it reminds me of a low battery warning when using a notebook PC when the battery is dead. This happened almost constantly in the demo, not so much in retail, but still happens at least once a game.
