icons?

I wonder if there is a console command, or any other tricky way, that I can toggle off the icon that appears over my troops heads when they are in cover.

I'd also like to toggle off some of the other icons, but the 'cover' one is the one that bothers me the most.

I've seen another thread where people who share my opinion are asking for a patch to toggle it off, but I wonder if there is already a console command in place that these folks just don't know about yet ?

Why would you want it turned off? The icons also let you know when your units will take EXTRA damage because they are in negative cover. I always move my units to keep them out of negative cover, without the icon how would you be sure they were not in negative cover if they were close to it?

I do think though that an option to toggle it would be best though, I wouldn't use it but it should be an option.

you would want to toggle it off if you were an art lover like me :)

btw.... There are lots of us out there, but we don't post on forums much, we usually just play games with good art where we can toggle off the interface. This game really got under my skin because of the great art, I'm trying to ignore the few icons that bother me, but a toggle switch would really help.

We art lovers are perhaps not as GOOD at playing these games as other types of gamers, but if developers would cater to us just a bit by letting us toggle off the interface to enjoy the art, I think they would find that our money spends just as easily as other folk's money :)

I'm not interested in what it looks like in a screen shot.

I'm here to admire AS I play :)
